About Library
Government Science College is highly focused on academic, research and development activities. With reference to focused objectives, the Library plays a vital role in the collection development and dissemination of scientific and technical information to meet the present and future academic and research needs of varied users.
Library at Government Science College houses more than 11201 Titles and volumes of books selectively chosen for reading and reference, library has special collection of more than 400 competitive exam books, and more than 100 Swami Vivekanand Books. Library also subscribe Magazine (14).
The Library is having access to e-resources through ONOS(One Nation One Subscription). ONOS is a government initiative proposed by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, aiming to provide free, nationwide access to scholarly research published in major scientific journals.
Access is provided to content from 30 major international publishers, including top names like Elsevier, Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, Wiley, IEEE, Wiley Blackwell, Sage, American Chemical Society, and more. and 13000+ peer reviewed and High Imapct Factor Journal through INFLIBNET Centre.
